Privacy Policy

• Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Library & activity — your favorites, watch-later list, watch history, and viewing progress, so we can power your dashboard and recommendations.
• Payment information — when you buy a membership, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and a record of the purchase (amount, term, date); we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage analytics — aggregate, non-identifying signals such as popular search terms and how often outbound provider links are clicked, used to improve the Service and understand referral performance.
• Essential cookies — a single signed cookie keeps you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

To operate your account and the Library, personalize recommendations, process membership payments, send you service messages (including renewal reminders — see below), maintain security, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information.

Because memberships never auto-renew, we send a small number of transactional emails: a receipt when you purchase, and reminders as your prepaid term nears its end so you can decide whether to extend. These are not marketing emails. If we ever send optional product updates, they will include an unsubscribe link.

We share data only with vendors that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Stripe — payment processing (its own privacy policy applies to card data).
• Our hosting and database providers — to run the app and store your account and library data.
• Our email provider — to deliver receipts and renewal reminders.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or Pops Streams.

When you follow a link to a third-party service (for example Netflix or Tubi), that provider's own privacy policy governs what it collects. We do not receive your activity on their sites. Some outbound links carry affiliate tags that let a provider attribute a referral to us.

We keep your account and library data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (such as payment records).

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by emailing privacy@popsstreams.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing; we honor these where they apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

We use industry-standard measures — hashed passwords, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and will notify you and regulators as required if a breach affects you.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact privacy@popsstreams.com and we will delete it.
